SAC's Gallery, in conjunction with the Society of Arts, offers classes to the public. Listed below are the classes which are being offered at the present time:


Painting with Donnave Lindsey

GREAT MASTERS CLASS

GREAT MASTERS CLASS CONTINUES

Cam Walker’s, award winning artist and longtime Art Educator, “Great Masters Class” will continue throughout July.


They are on Mondays at 1 pm. The focus of the class will be to look at techniques of famous artists through history and do artwork similar to theirs. For example the class on Henri Matisse was simple line drawings, collage and a brightly colored and patterned still life. A different artist will be studied each week. Per class cost is $12 for Society Members and $15 for non-members. Stop by the Gallery or call 265-9931 to sign up.

 

 

 

In July of each year, the students from these classes are given a show by SAC's Gallery and the Society of Arts & Crafts. The reception is usually held on the second Sunday of the month and is an opportunity for these artists to have a show, with the public invited.
