Born and raised in Alexander City, AL, Linda attended the junior college
there. She later transferred to Auburn University at Montgomery where
she majored in Fine Art. She sculpts in clay and stone.
In 1991, Linda took porcelain doll making classes from the late Kathleen
Fieder. A close friendship was formed through a mutual love of dolls
and doll making. By combining her natural talent for sewing with
the artistry of porcelain painting, Linda is able to create character dolls
as well as the baby dolls that are so appealing to collectors. She
also makes cloth dolls and doll clothes in various sizes.
